I’m an experienced teacher with over 20 years teaching experience working with students from kindergarten to grade 8.  I am passionate about the importance of a positive mindset towards learning. Believing in yourself is the first step to success. My goal is to inspire students to take risks, think critically, persevere and most importantly deepen their understanding. I am passionate about creating a space where learners feel safe to make mistakes. Everyone can learn math!

Hello! My name is Bill and my favourite words in the classroom are “Boom” and “Oh Yaaa” after a student understands a difficult concept. I believe students need to be treated respectfully, challenged appropriately and be given opportunities to feel confident and safe while learning. I have been privately tutoring for many years and feel my ideas need to be shared with more people. I want students to learn through great mistakes, take risks and feel great about their learning. I care about the entire student and not just their grades and I believe I can make a difference with any student no matter how big or small.
